There are no public events at the White House today...

The President returned from his Asia trip last night and he's got nothing on the schedule today...

There was a meeting at the White House today with various Women's Rights Community leaders regarding the Health Care bill on the Hill. The White House tells Fox:

"As part of our ongoing outreach surrounding health insurance reform, staff met with today with representatives of the women's rights community. Staff will also be meeting in coming days with leaders from communities of faith and other groups involved in the effort."

President Obama is confident he will sign health care legislation this year, but he says the amendment in the House legislation prohibiting abortion coverage in the so-called public option is not what he intends to have included in the final version of the bill.
